Remove app only
Removes the Diktator application while leaving larger local model files if you want to reinstall later.
Uninstall
Clean uninstall is built in.
Preferred method: open the Diktator DMG and launch Uninstall Diktator.app, or use Uninstall from Diktator Settings/menu if available.
Remove AI model
Optionally remove downloaded local model files from your Mac.
Reset macOS permissions
Where macOS allows it, the utility can help reset Diktator-related permission records.
Full uninstall
Full uninstall removes the app, Diktator support files, selected downloaded AI model files, logs/settings, and resets macOS permissions where macOS allows it.
Manual removal
Manual fallback instructions can be provided by support if the built-in utility cannot run on your Mac.
